New here from NE PA
After spending a few days asking some questions and spending more time on here reading than the wife would have liked over the past few days,
I made up my mind.
So...I put a deposit to hold the DI today after spending sometime driving it and looking around it. Followed a few of the tips fluid levels were good, oil coolant. I will have some things to keep me busy at first but minor nonmechanical for the most part. Sunroof looks to be leaking have taken headliners down and run new lines on past vehicles no big deal, rear windows don't always go down (already researched ECU, easy fix). For the price it was right and gives me something to play with. The CDL does work not stuck, back door handle works freely, has newly installed brake lines and front calipers.
From doing lots of reading here and all the info I felt confident enough to go out and do this. I can't wait to get me hands on it Saturday and start digging into it! I will be taking pics when I get it and as it goes, I like me a good project and already have a list in mind once I go over all the mechanical basics and tune up.
Looking forward to spending some time with you all on here learning,bs'ing and hopefully eventually helping others.

Welcome, be sure you download a copy of the shop manual set, called the RAVE. Has thousands of pages. Don't trust the stock heat gauge above 50%, it is not known for precise readings.
