Default New to me 2004

Hello everyone. I am the new proud owner of a very clean 2004 Zambezi silver Discovery SE7. This is by far the best truck I ever owned. I have owned every type of jeep thru the years all cj's and wramglers. The last 2 jeeps I owned were a 2008 4 door and the last which the 2004 Discovery is replacing is a 2011 2 door Wrangler. The Land Rover is awesome compaired to the jeeps. I love this thing!!!

Welcome. You'll like our tech area, with high miles service items to attend to, the rebuild of the front prop shaft must be number one, the oem is not fully greasable, and will snap with little or no warning, making a $7,000 hole in transmission. The shop/owners/electrical manual set is called the RAVE, free download below. Best money for an upgrade is a $ 70 Ultra Gauge, it is a code scanner that shows live data like coolant temp, and can reset codes. Yes, truck came with a heat gauge, and it points to 50% spot until it is almost too late. With a digital display you can see things getting warm day by day and take corrective action.

Greetings Stick105 and welcome to the forum. Lots of great guys and gals on here with a wealth og infomation. If you have a question try the search tab above as you wont be the first or the last to have a problem. The Ultra Gauge EM is a must that has been said by Buzz. Embrace the joy and frustration that comes with owning a land rover
