Hello all,

I just purchased a 1998 Discovery LE and wanted to say hi. The previous owner says the fuel pump is out and it won't start. It cranks but no wirring from the FP. I've been researching the issue on here and it looks like its not uncommon.

He replaced it about a year ago which leads me to believe either he got a rebuilt pump or its something else.

Anyway, I've checked the inertia switch and its a no go. I may look to replace the relay as well. If that doesn't do it, then I'll replace the pump.

If after all that its a no-go, then its off to my mechanic.

So, I'm stopping by to say hi and hopefully I'll be here for a while.
