LR enthusiast,
I took the plunge. Last night I drove by a distant neighbor's house and saw a for sale sign on his 95 discovery. After talking to him I find that he is an ex-fighter piolet and he tends to be a little compulsive about how he takes care of his vehicles. I decided to buy his 'cherry' LR. The current engine has 40k. The body has 103K. The original engine, which he included, is being rebuilt. Some mechanic left the radiator resevoir cap off and the engine ended up toast. On the other hand the mechanical parts of this 95 look great. he has lots of extras, including great sound system that my 16 year old will foam at the mouth because Papa will have a better sound system. I bought the LR for less than 7k. My wife sold my old 90 jeep cherokee while I was gone for a weekend and I have been missing a good ride into the desert for about 5 years.
Any thoughts about 95 discoveries will be well appreciated.
