Greetings! I've read this site for years because my wife has an LR3. I finally got my own '03 Discovery II a few weeks back and I really like it. I almost made it 24 hours without any warning lights! I know they're finiky but I'm pretty handy and I do most everything myself... .mostly thanks to you guys and your help. I'm a teacher, a drummer and a family man with two kids. There you have it.

now comes the question. Which do you prefer the LR3 or DII?

 

Well, I like them both for different reasons. The Lr3 is more plush and luxurious in a way. It's really my wife's daily driver so I'd have to sneak around to do off-roading. I've wanted a disco 2 for years though and I'm glad to have my own. The only thing that I do not like is the ac. The lr3 has the best ac in the world as far as I'm concerned. Disco- not so much. Perhaps if I had an hse with 3 rows, that would help. But this Texas heat whips it.
I like that if we go to this particular restaurant with valet parking... If you have a nice car, they will pick you up in front. If not, they'll go to the side. I want to see what they do with the disco!
