My wife, Susie and I, are the owners of two Land Rovers. A 1997 D90 and a 1972 Series 3 109 (Pictures attached below).
The Series 3 has an extra grille made of wire mesh that I have seen installed on some Series 3s instead of the plastic version grille. I thought this grille was for Series 2A models. Did some Series 3 versions actually have this metal grille supplied from the factory or was it an aftermarket item?
