new to Land Rover but not to good ol'english steel. I've had an MGB for years and Triumph motorcycles. Just got a 1995 Disco in decent shape for $800 because it wouldn't start. An easy fix to the distributor and it runs. Lots of miles on it, but body is very good shape, no damage, no rot. interior needs cleaning. has ladder and Hellas. Was just going to flip it, but now got the urge to go off road.
I've owned a Toyota Land Cruiser and Mitsubishi Montero in the past, but didn't do much with them. living in the pacific northwest i actually can justify owning a 4x4. My dependable daily driver is a VW Beetle TDI, though. (just remember Basil Fawltys advice when dealing with Germans: "Don't mention the War!")

welcome.
I too, have done a few brit bikes. let go of my triumph scrambler, 2 years ago. can't bring myself to let go of the singles though. still have 2 bsa 441 victor specials (one is a donor). also a rocket 3 that I have been piecing together for way too long.
good luck with the disco.
