Default New member with brake system question?

Hey All,

Hope you had a Merry Christmas & have a great New Year.

I recently acquired a 1985 Range Rover with the 3.5 L V8 petrol engine and automatic tranny. I have air in the brake system and have bled the entire system without being able to eliminate it!!! The are no leaks from the calipers. I've dismantled and inspected the master cylinder and everything looks good. Still there is air in the system to the extent that you can here it when operating the pedal. [:@]

Does anyone have any idea what my problem is???

Also I don't have a manual and laying my hands on one is going to be difficult. I was hoping someone might have a schematic diagram of the system and could send it to me so I can get a better feel for how the system works and check whether I'm missing anything!!! []

Hope it's OK being the new kid and asking for so much info. Thanks in anticipation.

Cheers,
Chris.

Place your question in the Range Rover area, this section is for introductions only.

Hey Mike, This dude posted this question the day after Christmas 2004 and he's made only one post. I would reckon he's not around anymore.
