Hi, I'm Erwin and I'm on a road trip through the USA with my wife.
We converted a Defender 110 300 TDI as a motorhome and shipped it from Germany to Baltimore 8 weeks ago. We already went from Baltimore to Key West, than the long way to San Diego, than to Utha and all the great National Parks. Currently we are in Bryce Canyon NP and our plan was to went to Las Vegas, San Franciso, Yellostone NP and than cross the border to Canada (our USA VISA ends on May 25th).
Unfortunately we have a broken rear diff (Detroit True Trac Salisbury 24sp).
Does anyone know where there is a workshop near our planned route that can get and install a new diff and the necessary parts?
If we remove the driveshaft and the axles we can drive with 2WD but we need this to be repaired soon.
I would be very happy about an answer
