I am new to the land rover cult of enthuasist . I have looked at these majestic machines with awe for some years now. I have herd all the bad about them but seldom the good. So far I am pleased with my purchase the only draw back is that am 6'4 and built like a linebacker with long legs and I am used to having a little more room for my legs other than that it is quickly becoming my new addiction.

I am ready to start to address the maintenance and up keep to ensure that my truck last and be a reliable vehicle. If you have any suggestion I am all ears any info on where to start would be greatly appreciated. Also is any one from around my area I would like to know good shops to work on my truck if I am not capable of doing it my self.

Well, there should be some mechanics around there somewhere, I bet you can get a Corvette serviced.....

The high miles service list on the forum is a good place to start. Also look very closely at the front prop shaft rebuild write up. Check out an Ultra Gauge. And download the free set of service manuals, called the RAVE.

LOL, yea this is the corvette capital. I will check into all of those things you have informed me of. I know i was reading that a lot of people ordered their prop shafts from ebay I might choose that route or try around town first. Ultra Gauge and the Rave manuals are next thank you for the advice.
