Picked up my first land rover this week. It is a 2000 Disco II SE with A.C.E. and Cold weather package.

Oxford Blue on Bahama Beige. I am really liking it so far.

Great. Please take advantage of the free download of the factory shop, electrical, and owner's manuals below, called the RAVE. Also check out our tech section for high miles service items that will need doing, and a special write up on rebuilding the front drive shaft - before it splits and spears a big hole in the transmission.

already got it downloaded. i work in a mercedes/bmw/volvo shop and we have a euro code reader that has the land rover program so hopefully i'll be able to diagnose and fix any issues i have with it.

the rover isn't perfect but the price point was right.

You can do the water pump on a Disco a lot faster than on a W124....

it seems to drive well, engine runs a bit rough at idle. overall good shape, a few rust spots but pretty clean otherwise.

i changed both differential and transfer case gear oil tonight with synthetic 75w90 stuff and changed the oil with motul 5w40.

anybody have any idea what aftermarket front bumper i have is (i am aware it needs some paint):
