New Member... my m3 will have a new friend soon
Hey Everybody, I'm Brendan and I'm from Cincinnati. I have always loved Land Rovers and soon will be a first time Land Rover owner. I've owned a few 4x4's which were two jeeps... from 01-04 i had a 97 Wrangler Sport lifted 3.5" (rolled and totalled), and currently have a 97 Cherokee lifted 4.5" which I have had since 2004. I have gradually lost my interest in it and Jeeps in general. I put it up for sale today. I am going to be replacing it with a Land Rover.
I've been looking for a Land Rover since August, and have occasionally read posts on the forum but haven't posted until today, but now its time since I will be buying one soon. I started out looking at Discovery II's preferrably 4.6L (I'm a horsepower junkie) but after test driving one at a used car dealership the salesman asked me if I wanted to drive a 2002 Range Rover 4.6HSE and I absolutely loved it. I still might get a Discovery II but recently I've been focusing my search on Second Generation Range Rovers (mostly 99-02s). About a month ago I test drove a Westminster edition and really liked the blacked out look it had. I am thinking about taking a couple hour drive to look at a Rhino Edition which I would love to own. I'm still not sure what I'll end up with though whether it be a Discovery 2 or a Range Rover, I'm not sure yet...
In case anyone is interested I am a fan of a lot of types of vehicles and have had an interesting slew of them over the last few years. I am currently restoring a 1926 Model T Fordor with my dad. I have had a few other cars besides the 2 Jeeps which were a Corolla, 2 300ZX's, a 1st gen GTI, and a couple BMW's... my current car other than the Jeep (soon to be Land Rover) is a 1995 BMW M3. Although its an older one it only has 22,600 miles. It is mugello red (rare color) with black leather interior. It has more modifications then I would care to list, so I'll just tell you its supercharged and post a pic... enjoy
