Hi all!

Just bought a 2004 Disco II in Kailua.

And wouldn't you know it, its already got significant overheating problems.

Anyone know a reputable service shop for LR's around here?

Howz it, was that the one with 107,000 miles? I'm not sure of a shop around here. Ive had friends recommend Capital Auto in Waipahu, but not LR specific. I think the dealer is the only LR specific shop. But I'm new LR, hopefully there is a good alternative.

Where do you live? I'm in Palolo.

 

Sure was the one with 107k.
Its pretty nice aside from the overheating. LR dealership is has worked through the cooling system and got it figured out.

what had to be done?

 

Had to replace some with the coolant system. New pipe, junction, and hose clamps. Problems mainly stemmed from home remedies (silicon plug sealer, and dinky screw clamps) instead of getting it done right.

Hopefully no issues now.

You looking at that Disco in Hawaii Kai or the one Lonestar has?
