Default New Old Range Rover/First One

Good day,

Took a step away from the Toyota Landcrusier platform and bought a 2001 Range Rover 4.6 SE. 110,000 miles, 2 owners, no rust. Completely different vehicle compared to a Landy. This thing is a tank! Drives smooth and rides like a dream. The air suspension is still intact and works like a dream! Few minor body imperfections and a few to do’s on it. Will be inquiring for some advice on repairs that are needed.

Nice. The P38 is a tank and is a great vehicle to drive. Solid feel. Just keep up with the maintenance regularly and be patient.

make sure the cooling system is fresh and good to go and you'll be just fine. there are a few mods the DII guys do that will work on your block as well. I have a 2000 Range Rover block in my disco and it's fantastic.

Nice purchase. Would you mind sharing how much you paid. I posted a thread on the dII forums regarding a potential new purchase. They're asking 3900 for a 2000 DII. i put pics of the undercarriage and suspension.
