Hello

I have just decided to get into Land Rovers but at the same time have decided that the hobby has to pay for itself. So, I have purchased a 2000 Discovery that I plan to fix up myself though would consider parting out to finance getting another one. I also have a 1996 Discovery that I am actively parting out. If this works out then I intend to keep up the cycle of purchasing and selling parts to build my Land Rover.

Currently I am wanting a Discovery and financially seems the most feasible. A buddy of mine who is going in on this adventure has put a LS engine into his Porsche 944 and we are considering doing the same thing to the Rovers.

Also, this is my first time joining a forum. I'm still not going to get a FaceBook and only begrudgingly got a smart phone as a necessity for work.
