Hi Everyone! I just purchased my first Rover as well. It is a 97 Discovery II SE7. Have wanted to own one for quite some time but wanted to wait till I could purchase one as a "2nd" vehicle that doesn't have to be depended on "every" day. Anyway glad to be finally an owner. congratulations, if it is a 1997 it would make it a D1 discovery

 

Thx! The owners manual listed it as a 97 Disc II SE7. I'm new to all this so just assumed that was it

 

are the door handle flush? then its a D1,
