Checking in. Just picked up Defender Trek #33 on 12-30. I live in Birmingham, AL but had to go to St. Louis, MO to get it. Drove it 500 miles home without incident. Rides like a car at 75 mph and averaged 13 mpg. Still learning how everything works. Just got the dash cam configured. I am huge fan of forums although I am usually a sponge but promise to share what I learn if it's not already posted.

Another Bham native here. Congrats on the new truck. Hope a hail storm doesn't show up tonight. Is this a daily driver or weekend scout? I see new Defenders up and down 280 everyday but haven't seen a Trek yet.
By any chance did you find out what RMR wants for theirs?
Is that Goodyear sticker level with the ground which makes it look crooked with the fender? Looks like it is at an odd angle, but that could just be the camera... I hope.

I never called them but there is a post from October about it that said $130. Probably not a DD. My wife works at Children's and it wont fit on the deck. Do plan on playing on the forest service roads in Talladega, and may get a rooftop tent, but then have to do a lot of rearraigning. HMU if there is an event.

The Goodyear does look odd from about any angle. Not a huge concern.
Unrelated: I spent 4 years ('86-'90) at the sub base in Bangor. Wish I had something like this at the time.
