Hi, I am hoping that someone with some knowledge and experience may help myself and hubby on purchasing either a Discovery or Freelander. Basically we both prefer the Discovery but only have a budget of max 13K. I know you can get more for your money with the Freelander and I have been told that cheaper to maintain etc. Howver we are willing to pay out more on maintenance costs but want to be realistic too.

I test drove a 2.7 Td V6 GS today and it is on a 2007 plate and 90k on the clock. It is going for 10895k and in generally good nick with full service history and recent Cam belt change. Is this good value or is mileage too high?

Any help would be really appreciated.
