I am new the this forum. We have a 2002 Discovery II.

I joined the site to gain insit to some recent issues that I have been having with chasing down coolant leaks. Leaks sprang up as the hard plastic expansion tank and tubing under the hood began to crack.

I have been replacing these parts and ordered a few gaskets from roverparts.com - a site that I came across with the help from posts I found here.

The most recent leak seems to be in the front of the engine compartment, somewhere around my pulleys and belts (but not from the radiator).

I appreciate the knowledgebase and enthusiasm that this forum shares.

No major mods on my disco, just little bolt on stuff here and there. Replaced the front driveshaft. We upped our tires to 265/75/16s and flipped the spare tire bracket. Put on a safari roof rack and are expecting the rear jump seats that we bought to arrive this week. that will be this weekend's project.

Next up will be springs to give my tires some additional clearance and a low profile winch bumper to gain some clearance up front.

From Western Australia here - just joined today. Seeking a Series II V8 auto - have had two Series I V8 autos in the past. Love that sound!! For as long as we have petrol, what a way to use it!!
