Hello all,

I just bought a 96 Disco and have already put a little elbow grease into it to cure a few ills. I repaired the diff lock, and had to remove the entire shift assembly to free it. Not too bad of a job, I followed instructions on a post and it worked well. I also repaired the rear windows with the jumper wire, with instructions from British Atlantic's tech section. I'm in the process of replacing all fluids.

Next up on project list is trying to sort out the cruise control (button doesn't light up, fuse is good) which I haven't researched at all yet, replace the exhaust pipe and rear muffler, and eventually a brake job. I wish I could trust the sunroofs, but they don't close reliably enough to open them in the first place even though I cleaned and greased the daylights out of them. Oh well.

All in all I'm pretty excited to have the Rover, I've wanted one of these forever ever since my uncle had an old series II, and a Defender 90.

Mike

P.S. For Spike555, I'm in SE GR, near Mulick Park. I can't PM for 10 days apparently.
