Hi all, my name is Tim and my friends call me little_buddy. I used to own a Scion xB that was done up for show, and recently went in the body shop for being keyed. The body shop owner made me an offer on the car and I took it seeing as I need something with more space to it. I don't own a Rover yet, but I'm looking in to getting one in the next few days, a week at the latest and I want to know your opinion on which model, between the Discovery and Range Rover, would be best. I'm not looking for anything super fancy, as a matter of face I'm looking in to a used one. Something 2000 or newer in the 10k range. I've found several with or at about 100k miles on them. I'd like to know what to look for in buying on and which might be the better vehicle.

A little more about me. My wife and I are Massage Therapists and we need something that can carry both our massage tables. We live in The SF Bay Area, so most of the Land Rovers we find here have high mileage but are very well taken care of. I've found a few in the 97 to 02 year range that meet my price range and have just over or under 100k on them. I just don't know which models hold up the best.

So, any help or point in any direction is appreciated.

This is a bit of a help but what about the Range Rover? I've looked and I guess not very well, but can't find much on them.
