Default Newbie from Michigan

Glad to find such a valuble site!! This is my first venture into Land Rover territory. Bought a 2003 Dico II, just met the 3 Amigos and I'm starting down the list of "to do's" from Disco Mike for maintenance.

I've built 3 F-250's ('76,'77,'78) from the ground up into mud hogs when I lived in Iowa.

The Rover is parked on my wife's side of the garage for another 6 months, then I'm buying her a new car, making the LR a third vehicle. I plan on tearing it completely down and rebuilding into a unsafe toy.

Welcome, be sure to read thru our tech section, in particular the part on rebuilding the front prop shaft before it breaks and spears a hole in the transmission. I have a 93 F250 that can do 0-60 in about 4 gallons. Backup and parts go getter for the Disco. Rover is not much more difficult to work on, just smaller spaces to deal with.

Spike I see that you have a link to Mars Hill. Yet another thing in common. 9:00 mornings, my wife and I sit in the front row behind the drummer.

We have to wait until she is old enough to go to the Baby Bay.
The Shed is to loud for a infant, the band rocks at over 100db, it's pretty kick ***.
