Greetings,
It will be a year in November that I got my 2000 Disco II from my dad's mechanic that got stuck with it for more than 3 years after the client never picked it up?
What a blessing it was because I'd not had a vehicle for a year and i said many years ago if i ever bought a truck it would be a Land rover. I'm a country girl at heart and love off-roading down south with my family.
Since this truck sat for so long, i should have really invested into a good tune up and maintenance but i didn't do that right away. I'm now doing what i need to do so i can have her running smooth and problem free.
It just got new spark plugs and wires (even though my pcodes are still showing up), oil change and a brake change on the rear wheels.
My 3 amigos have been on for a few months but i think it's just the sensor and not the ABS module.
Today I had my 1st "accident" and took off the rear quarter bumper.
Wondering how to repair this issue is what made me finally go from just reading this forum to actually joining and posting.
Hope to get some good advice and learn as much as i can to be a resource to others in time.
I respect and appreciate all of those who share the love for these vehicles as i do and i look forward to being part of this community (finally, lol)!
