Ok LR Noob
Hello Everyone!
My name's Rob and I'm uber-excited to be here! I am finally the owner of a Land Rover! I'm crossing over from the German side of things (BMW) and look forward to learning from all of you and contributing when I can.
Short and sweet on me: I work for the government maintaining jets and love it. I've been a car junkie since before I could drive. I raced imports (legally!) for quite a while, then switched to German cars and began the buildup of my 3 series. Mother nature intervened and totaled my car with a 20 minute hail storm. I had been wanting a Disco for a long time just never thought I'd get rid of my Bimmer! Well, opportunity knocked and I let'er in. I was able to purchase my Disco from my wife's family. It's a 2003 Discovery 2 HSE with 59k on the ticker and full service records. The thing is immaculate...white gold with the tan/black interior. I'm still going through the records to see what all has and has not been done so I can pick up from there. It's due the 60k massage so I'll be doing that pretty quick.
Anyway, that's enough for now. Who wants to read here too long anyway?! I'll say thanks in advance now for any and all help I will receive and will need in the future!
