Hi! I'm new. I'm currently deployed right now to afghanistan. I'm in the 82nd Airborne Division and will be returning in 5 months. I'm beginning to look at a family car (have a kid on the way), and my fiance showed interest in the Land Rover Discovery. I love the way it looks, but the car guys over here say they're junk. I just wanted to know what I should look at if I'm buying a used Discovery. I've been a VW guy since I was young, owning Corrados, GTI's, Golfs, and now its time for me to upgrade a bit. How reliable are they? I'm looking to spend around 12,000 or less. Is it possible to find a nice one in that price range with less than 100,000 miles? I like the 02's and newer. Once I buy one, It wont be driven very far. I'm stationed at Ft. Bragg in North Carolina and I don't live but 10 miles from post. Thank-You in advance!
