Default Possible new owner of 01 Disc II

Good Evening all. I am currently stationed in San Juan, PR with the US Coast Guard. and one of the guys on the base is selling his 01 Disco II for 2k obo. only issue so far is the master cylinder went out and other odds and ends.

I found this forum and figured id join to be able to ask and chat and possibly find a good used master cylinder for cheaper than the parts store to get me at least rolling safely.

I am quite familiar with vehicles. currently own a 06 traiblazer ss (built iron block 370 awaiting boost) 78 Chevy c10 awaiting a new heart, 68 c10 ummmmm garage queen apparently. and owned countless toys up til now.

Get a disco 1 way more off road prowess and alot more reliable you'll want the cdl which an 01
D2 don't have and one trip down the three Amigos will turn you off land rover for good which is sad because they are a terrific vehicle
