Default Singapore Newbie

Hi folks, this is Ray, I have a 110 HT TD5. Based in Singapore and a member of the Land Rover Owners of Singapore (LROS) group which has about a hundred members. If anyone wants to join our group let me know and I will tell you how. We do weekly offroading and cookouts in the local jungles that are kid and pet friendly. All rovers are welcome.
Cheers

thanks, nice to be here.

Well, if you guys are ever passing through our neck of the woods, let us know.

The bridge was better than it looked, and was the right width for the defenders and Series in the group, but it was a bit tricky for the sole lightweight that was along, as his wheelbase was a different width.

Cheers

Ray

Lots of myths out there about singapore. I think it may be illegal to spit on the sidewalk, but that's also illegal in NYC. I guess it's a matter of enforcement.

It's not the smallest country - Vatican City, Monaco, and about 20 others are smaller, but it's definately down near the end of the list.

It is very clean though, for a country that is mainly urban. And quite green, especially for an Asian city. And not a big traffic problem compared to most of Asia. The cost of cars contributes to that. (Where else in the world would it cost $150,000 to buy a Defender Station Wagon?)

Cheers

Ray
