starts but cuts out

starts but cuts out
Hi 
i own a dicovery td5 02 plate, when i start it it runs for 1/10 seconds then dies it then spins over for at least 30 seconds then starts and will run no problem, but turn off i can get the same problem [:@]. HELP PLEASE I AM CLUE LESS
