I'm Brian. Had my 97 Disco for 3 years. 2" lift, HD axles, ARB's front and rear, 4.11 gears, Warn winch. I 4w and hike a lot in Utah and Western Colo. Spent 3 days at the Moab Jeep Safari last weekend plus 2 days hiking in Arches NP. Lots of fun. Mine was the only LR on the 3 runs I did. Got lots of complements from the Jeepers who did not think I could run with them. My Disco has been a very good vehicle with few problems even though I have knocked it hard offroad. I consider myself to be very fortunate to live where I do with all the outdoor opportunities in the 4 corners area. Glad to join the forum.
