Default yay! I got one!

And his name is Bosley. Any good car owner knows that true pride of ownership and a personal relationship worth your car begins when you assign a name...and Bosley and I are getting to know one another. At $2500 below blue book, I kind of stole him... I guess I'll have to keep the amazing boyfriend that found him for me around for a long while! (2002 silver/tan disco II SE7) can't wait to get him dirty!

Enjoy the download of the RAVE set of shop, electrical, and owner manuals in link below. And pour some of that happy feeling in a bottle and put on a shelf, you'll need a good swig of it from time to time. Please read thru our tech section on service items for high miles Discos, and pay attention to the front prop shaft rebuild instructions. The stock drive shaft does no have enough lube fittings, it fails, snaps, and spears transmission, about $7,000 repair at dealer. $100 DIY fix beforehand.

Thanks, yes, I got the download when I joined in January, and I am trying to calculate all of the $$ I need to get that 60k mile tuneup underway. Not a hard job, just time consuming and costly...

Having that M and S indicator light flash every once in a while, will begin the trouble shooting soon, I have read many posts on this... first job: inspect the battery cable to make sure it is secured correctly!

Actually would be a good idea to change battery. Low battery will make M&S flash and not set a code. And for the 60K list, do some each weekend. That is a pile to do on one work day.
