yes, i think GM owned the moulds etc, i couldnt find the post.
I have a spare 600hp 400 chev here, but it is the old scool iron block with a solid cam and i want to keep the weight down, i have a rb30 engine here aswell, but after coinsidering the F-ing around ill stay with the rover to keep it simple.
Gone with this combo, 300 buick crank, 3.9 rods, forged ford pistons, ported heads, custom headers/ex, a holley efi kit with a capa super charger kit, to run this i will most likely get motec ecu and HEI ignition, if i get => 400kw with a fair idle i will be happy , i probally should get the motec and HEI Ign now for the current engine thats in it, ill post yous some photo on the build for those who are intrested.
All i need know is a decent block to get started.

OR maybe you should understand just what you are asking. The folks on here are all about making these trucks the most reliable offroad trucks going. NO parts of these trucks were ever designed for the abuse that 600+ HP will deliver. That said you are welcome to find out for yourself.
This is my whole point, this is why i said reliable 600hp combo, i know the diffs, transfer and gearbox wont take 600hp, lol, im not a idiot and i dont like to be treated like a laughing joke.
Im not afraid to stray from the pack of sheep and take on challanges to build what is suited for my personal driving style and abuse, yes i am extreme and this what i like, extreme tuff cars and trucks.
I have been building highly modified vechiels for 20yrs, from tubbed full chassis drag cars to buggies, this is my passion, i have mates who also do this, this what the whole spirit is half about,, beer, mates and cars.
With that said "Folks", is this how you treat all new members? Pfff ... really!
Anyway, lets move on.
This might be a cheaper option, lol ... ;@)
