Default 2020 Defender - engine seize no warning

GF owns a 2020 Defender and Engine seized with no warning lights. Does this sound right?
No Oil Can Light. No Engine Overheating Light. No Oil over Heating Light. It died on road and
showed Add 1 Qt Oil and Next Service 1700 miles. I do not know Land Rover warnings only what
I have learned via manual and JLR main sites. Thoughts?

lt's impossible to say without taking a look at it and plugging it into diagnostics.

But l've not heard of any other failures of this type on the Defender.

l hope it's still under warranty.
