Default 44K miles and dealer said replace rear rotor and pads

I recently had my LR2 oil change done at the dealership and received the paperwork along with some suggestions. One suggestion in red "required immediate attention" is to replace the rear rotors and brake pads. It states the brake linings are about 1mm left. The car has 44K miles on it. I'm a bit skeptical about this repair suggestion but is this typical? Can't they just resurface the rotors and slapped in new pads?

Thanks
jav

Most of the European dealers dont resurface rotors. And after 44k miles, you are skeptical about the brakes being on the out?
