Angry 8 months for a replacement dash board!!!!

I had an accident with our 2006 LR3 on december 29th 2012. We hit a small deer and bareley had any cosmetic damage, but I hit the deer dead center of the Bumper at about 60km/hr. Well we didn't feel anything in the truck but the explosion of the 2 front airbags. End result, need to replace two airbags, a dashboard, the windshield ( because of the passenger airbag) and the very lighthly cracked bumper. Anyhow, latest news from Land Rover Canada is that the replacement dashboard will not be available until august 10th 2013!!!! 8 months, this completely blows me away, but not nearly as much as the very poor customer service we have received. They have the ***** to make us wait more than 8 months for a critical replacement part (I am unable to use my véhicule since the accident) and will not provide any replacement vehicule whatsoever. I am disapointed to say that the new Range Rover we were planning to get in 2015 has just gone out of the window. No way that we are staying with the brand. I am actually comtemplating driving the truck right into their front door once it will finally be repaired... I never could have imagined that their customer service would have been so horrible.

Have you only dealt with the dealer or did you take it to a body shop?

Any update on this situation? Hopefully it can help out somebody in a similar "hard to get parts" situation.

Where are you in Canada?

you can replace the dashboard separate from the airbag. it bolts to the dashboard.

just make sure to order an additional vin sticker. Or else Canadian authorities will not let it be registered. Trust me I know.
