So driving home a few weeks ago my temp gauge pegged, then dropped, then pegged, then... you get it. I checked fluid levels, and for leaks. Same level so no leaks, no pressure in the tank, and not too warm coolant temp (it was only 6 degrees out) Plenty of heat out the heater. so I drove it home in the snowstorm.

I then went out and picked up a 2006 HHR LT!! it has 177K miles, no rust and is in great shape with only a few problems, $1500. Much smoother drive, and much better on the gas bill. I still have the D1, but driving the HHR is sooo comfortable...
