im thinking of getting a 1965 land rover for a round Australia trip mostly because of reliability and space and also because i like the look but i was wondering if i could make the interior modern like how a brand new land rover would look because i plan on using this car for many many years i also want to put new cooper tires on and get more modern suspension and breaks thanks XTOOL X-100 PAD Tablet Key Programmer

I'm sure you could get a custom interior done that would be more plush than the original. You could also upgrade the suspension and brakes, but cost might be high. If you're not worried about resale value then go for it.

If you're serious, be sure to read up on Australia's vehical laws, what's legal on one side of the country doesn't mean it's legal on the other side if lifting and such. It's worse than the states.

Can you modernize a 1965 Land Rover? Sure, by a 1997 Defender 90. Essentially, a Defender is a modernized version of a 1965 Series IIa.

Frankly, I don't understand the point of the question without further explanation of what you consider "modernized" to mean.
