Default Car Transportation

Looking to purchase a car in Massachusetts and transport it to New York as cheap as possible. Car has no rocker panels left so driving it would be out of the question. Don't want to use my disco to tote another disco (don't want mine to get jealous and die). Any ideas??

AAA membership. Look into the plus and platinum plans they offer. Ask about their free tow programs. Membership cost $100 or less per year for the top of the line membership plan.

I can tell you who NOT to use: DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers) They quoted me $800 to ship a car 187 miles. Guess I'm in the wrong business.

Why cant you drive it with no rocker panels?
Half of the cars and trucks around here have the rocker panels rusted away and they are still on the road with no ill effects, I have driven may cars like that too.

800 for 187 miles is crazy! One of my drivers used to haul cars and NJ to Orlando was 1195 per car
