I don't know about expert assistance, but he spent all his years working for the electric company. So hopefully it's all good.

I know the feeling, my pop was a journeyman union electrician. He helped me with my first house, gave me the service panel and a gazillion breakers. I didn't have to ask for advice, it was there.

Now I need a 240v welder

Was out there doing some organizing today after duty, and enjoying the Yamaha sound system, hopefully that didn't bother the neighbors
