ebay / craigslist......fun stuff
Commercial battery tester/charger like you would find in an auto repair shop. Paid $30, and it works! It's a Midtronics inCharge RTD Fast Charger. This thing must retail for close to $1000. I've been testing batteries all afternoon 😀

Land Rover Discovery 2004 Blue - $8500
Land Rover Discovery 2004 Blue
Here's whats wrong with it:
• The front bumper is cracked
• There is a small crack in the back right tail-light (not noticeable)
• On occasion the coolant leaks (very minimally) -- all Discoveries do this
• If started and then driven abruptly it may misfire; not an issue if you let it run for a few seconds before hitting the gas
• The back left door can only be opened from the inside (I never fixed this)
I thought all discoveries leaked oil not coolant.

Well, not an eBay or Craigslist find but it was free to me. This car was given to me by my mother in law if I just hauled it off. '87 Volvo 240 Wagon, 5 speed manual in pretty decent shape, runs well. Even has 4 brand new tires. Hadn't been started in at least 3 years and registration expired in 2010. Got it home and started on the second crank. I did have to pay for keys to be made since she didn't have any. That was $50 using the door lock cylinder. 😊
