ohh wow!!.........you all guys have great ideas of earning $$$$$...........sounds interesting as well as little risky!!

I'm going to stick with Rover accessories, because you're right...too risky without going all-in. I'd only ever do this if I was going to actually drive the the rescue Disco while slowly fixing it up, and currently don't have the garage or driveway space to accommodate that.

I did a tally the other day and I've profited enough to cover my NIB Warn winch tray and '04 transfer case/linkage. I'd call that a success.

is there many people breaking discovery 2s for used parts in the US?

I know I'm bringing up an old thread here, but...

I haven't seen anyone in this thread mention anything about needing a dealer license. I'm sure not all states, but I know for sure that some require people to have a used car dealer license if they purchase or sell more than a certain number of motor vehicles within a one year period. Here in Florida, the limit is three, the fourth requires a dealer license. I don't know what the penalties are if you get caught, but the law is there on the books.
