A general thanks to Disco Mike!
Wife just bought a 2001 Discovery LE7, we got it home yesterday. Of course, aside from my day job I also serve as the foreign and domestic automobile mechanic...I guess she thinks I'm qualified because I took 2 years of "Auto Shop" in high school 10 years ago!
Anyhow, we didn't have an owners manual for the Discovery. I checked the local auto stores for a Haynes manual and after searching online I guess Haynes doesn't even publish one...so I ended up here.
Mike typed up a nice lengthy response to the few questions I had and dropped me his phone number. I called him and he really brought me up to speed on the Discovery. I really appreciate that and it's nice to know that there is a community of people here who are willing to help fellow Rover owners out.
Quite honestly, I wasn't especially excited about purchasing this Discovery. I'm pretty partial to older Chevrolets. But I must admit, for whatever reason I'm liking this Disco...maybe it's the seats? Thanks again Mike, it meant alot to me.
