RE: Happy New Year for 2005
Yep, happy new year everyone!!
We went away in the caravan for our new year and my LandRover received a pride boost by having to tow two people off the wet and muddy field we ended up staying on. The field was a football pitch so the ground was very soft to start with, and once the rain lashed down for the entire day that was it - nobody was going anywhere except for us 4WD owners, and even some of those got stuck. I had to tow my Dad's Mazda van off the field which couldn't even make it off on it's own let alone with a caravan on the back, and then I had to go to the rescue of another 4WD who had got stuck while trying tow his caravan off the field. The Discovery did quite well, she managed to drag the 4WD AND it's caravan off the field at the same time, which I was quite impressed with really.
