Hi KD, nice of you to enquire. Unfortunately I've moved on as there are very few, probably half a dozen, left on here that I can identify with. All the original members seem to have disappeared and between that and drongos having aprties blowing up their D2's because they can't sort them and then insults about English engineering I decided it was time to stick to my own countrymen. Pity as there were many good members, yourself, Landlover_1, Slabrat, Dusty1, Savannah Buzz, etc, etc but the forum seems to have been hijacked by a 'different' type recently. I'll cruise by occasionally but not as a regular event. Keep well and all the best to you and your family.

I’m really sorry to hear that Offroad. I’ve enjoyed your company on the forum and wish you well. I’ve had a particularly rough week emotionally and the news that you’re moving along saddens me further. Not to open a can of worms and instigate a philosophical debate (lord knows we don’t need to raise the hackles of one Mr. Paul Grant) but I feel that society as a whole is taking a downward turn for the worse and that people forget that there is another individual on the other end of a computer screen. An individual with thoughts, feelings, and emotions. I believe our society is too fast paced, somewhat self-absorbed and so reliant on technology that we forget about the things that matter most….our fellow man. I, unfortunately, speak from experience and have been hit one too many times this week by rude customers, being overlooked at the workplace, run over on the road by one too many aggressive motorists and having my voice not be heard by management, so much so that I feel as if I’ve been chewed up and spit out. And the one friend I thought would be there for me has finked out and left me high and dry. So please believe me when I tell you that I know how you feel. I thank you for the best wishes for the fam – likewise, I return the same to you and yours. Take care.
