You're right. Genomic sequencing is required to determine the variant. It's expensive and complex so each jurisdiction determines how many torun. However as we all know from university & high school stats, you don't need a super big N to determine X. And in that regards, all things being equal, the numbers quoted accuracy are good enough for me.

What's really fascinating is the incidence & hospitalization rates amongst the unvaccinated vs the vaccinated. I sympathize for the involuntary unvaccinated. It seems Cassidy has clued in that it's his voters being adversely affected. Watch the messaging change real quick.

There is some not-even-funky math, glad they can admit it, it still correlates with multiple jurisdictions like Texas. When Abbot asks folks to vaccinate you know the the world has gone topsy turvey. It seems the unvaccinated are delaying elective procedures, Abbot is bringing in out of state nurses, and putting up tents.

Cases of Covid aren't going to suddenly stop. Also with all these #'s & vaccinated vs un-vaccinated the actual # we need to worry about is deaths from Covid........................... However no one seems to care to actually post those with any accuracy at all. All they want to post is Covid cases and they also immediately claim it's the Delta strain which goes back to what I said earlier. I have no problems with shots, but something isn't right with this Covid vaccination. It's being pushed and pushed and pushed, people fully vaccinated are still getting Covid (know of plenty of folks fully vaccinated getting it). There is ABSOLUTELY zero positive things with being vaccinated. You can't walk around without a mask, you can't board a plane, bus, or ship without a mask, and you are basically a ticking time bomb to any side effects that may take years to fully show up. Or you can go un-vaccinated and be treated the exact same, but you don't have to worry about side effects 10 years down the road.

It just seems like a massive movement to get people afraid to live their lives, and basically live in fear of something with a 99% survival rate. I'm honestly way more afraid of being killed in a car accident (people can NOT drive), or being killed at work. I had Covid, my wife had Covid, and I'm pretty sure my youngest child also had it as she ran a fever for several days after my wife had Covid, and she kept a nasty cough for several weeks. We've all recovered, and my only side effect was the hair on my head going white/grey (or I'm just getting old haha 44 and counting). My wife lost some of her hair for up to a month after Covid, but it came back just fine. Things could have certainly been worse. I've also had blood work done over nearly a 1 year period and I'm still positive with Covid Antibodies.

If taking the vaccine gave you a total no mask, no restrictions pass then by all means I'd go for it as my wife wants to go on a Cruise, but if you are treated exactly the same, with possible side effects in the future nah I'll pass and go by my natural Antibodies instead.

 

I got the Biden COVID vaccination as soon as it was available. It wasn't so bad after the mind control chips fully seated in my brain. I just need to remember to wear a signal blocking hat whenever the government comes to my door to collect the guns and ammunition that I don't have.

My grandmother just passed away. She was 3 days from her second vaccination shot when she suffered a massive brain bleed/stroke, and passed away this morning at 2am (no previous issues or health conditions). They also said she tested positive for Covid, but she had absolutely zero symptoms. No fever, no cough, no weird smell, no weird taste, absolutely nothing, but positive for Covid...

It would really be sad if she got the vaccine to protect herself from Covid, but then the vaccine itself killed her. Then my wife was having surgery in the same hospital for a broken ankle. One family member was rushing to the hospital to see Granny, got bit by a copperhead, then when a friend was driving them to the same hospital they were in a pretty bad car wreck....... Pretty crazy around here lately!!!!

Thank you Red, it's been a very very tough week! Wife is on the mend 9 weeks ahead of her = not working, and Granny's funeral will be this weekend.
