Great stuff AR

We lived through a 'tempete' a couple of years ago in October, it looked like the roof was gonna disappear and the walls, roof and woodwork were creaking violently and shaking, being the walls are 2' plus thick stone it seems impossible, but true. As you know, a 'tempete' is basically a hurricane with lots of rain and thunderstorms and sometimes cyclones, I thought the house was gonna fall apart, it lasted for 6+ hours.

Unfortunately it happens often here, it's the price for living on top of the hill also.

According to "The 3 Little Pigs" I am good to go as brick doesn't blow down no matter how much you huff and you puff

So we and most everyone in GA did just fine in the storm. Lost 2 Apple trees and 1 peach tree so my summer fruit production just took a crap... Spent all day Tuesday with a chain saw or hand saw chopping them up.

Plus side I have enough firewood to heat my house for the winter I think.

If you have a smoker, those woods work great for that. Glad things didn't turn out to bad for you and family.
