I need a bigger toolbox...
Anyone know how I can convince my wife that I need a bigger tool box...? I had this http://www.mactools.com/product/tabi...rkstation.aspx at work, ran out of room so I added a side box and prybar/screwdriver lockable thing. Ran out of room and took that all home and have a stainless top and bottom box at work. Ran out of room again and added a side box. Out of room again. Thinking of this with a top box...KRL1033BPBO, Roll Cab, Triple Bank, Extended Cab System, 19 Drawers, Red

KRL1203BPBO, Top Chest, Triple Bank, 15 Drawers, Red
How did some of you out there get permission to take the plunge...or are you still trying. Or did you even bother with permission

It is easier to beg forgiveness then it is to gain permission.
My wife always just saw the payments to the tool truck and did not ask questions about what it was for. Then I did an inventory for insurance, that was an eye opener.

I have the same snap on box you have linked, top, bottom, and lockers on each side. I can say its a top quality box but Macsimizer I traded in (just the bottom rolling chest, same size as the snapon) was just a little bit nicer in my opinion. Im looking at upgrading again soon, not sure if itll be a Mac or SnapOn, I guess who ever is gonna give me a better deal trade in on my old box. As far as the old lady she dont ask I dont tell lol, as long as she doesnt see any receipts Im golden
I will say that I wouldnt buy the side cabinets again. They are kinda waste of space in my opinion, but it was a used special edition box when I got it so he wouldt sell me the box without them.
Yeah, the side boxes are just a lot of money for a tiny bit of space. I like the Mac series, especially that their drawers pull out completely. Unless Snap-on has changed theirs, last time I checked, Snap-On's drawers pull out most of the way, which leaves you to dig blindly through the last 4 inches of drawer.
