And yes an EV car is nothing but a gloried EZ Go Golf cart. Some batteries, an electric motor or two, a chassis, creature comforts, and 4 seats....

When "I" drive a car I like the sound the engine makes on a cold start, the way the car feels, and I like to interact with it. I like an actual gauge cluster vs LCD screen, I like the vibrations I get from the engine upon acceleration and lovely V8 sound as the RPM's change. An EV car does not give you that kind of driving experience and maybe that's why I see so many Tesla owners on their iPads going down the road at 70MPH because they're actually BORED to death

Tesla does live updates & they can disable super charging very easily.......
