Land Rover Build Dates

is there anyway other than going into a dealership to find a build date on an LR3? can you tell from the numbers on the VIN?

I know nothing about LR3's but mine has a sticker on the driver's door with the build date.

i have never seen a sticker on either of my LR3's but will double check.
