My 19-year old son has me watching Mad Max: Fury Road. The offroading techniques are unconventional. Ill-advised winching technique too. No tree strap. As slow as possible, as fast as necessary is not observed.

 

From what I know, almost everything was practical. (Meaning it was done with real drivers on those locations).

Haven't seen the movie in a while. What specifically were they doing that was odd? (Besides the winching).
