Just picked up a TomTom XL the other day for everyday use since the laptop based GPS system we have is a little too inconvenient to use every single day since you have to get the laptop out, plug it into the power inverter, start it up, plug the USB cord for the GPS antenna in, start the program, etc....

So anyways we played around with it a bit more tonight and customized it to make it more... suitable for use in a Land Rover.
